Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros Tour Merch

On March 16th, Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros will share their first live double-album exclusively on BitTorrent Bundle. Live In No Particular Order: 2009 – 2014 features more than two hours of music from performances around the world. We had the great chance to print some merch for them for their concurring touring happening in early spring. We are always stoked to work with Alex Ebert and the gang. Within the last couple years we have printed various projects for them. They are a very talented and widely renown artists. It is a privilege that they choose our team to carry out some of their fashion products. We are long-time fans of their music and their unique American indie folk style. Keep rocking!! :)

We were recently reunited with our old friends from New Community Management, the managers of many acts like Edward Sharpe, Bad Suns, The Wild Ones, Lia Ices, and many others. ESMZ have recently departed on a short leg tour, and they needed some much needed hoodies printed for that leg of their tour. The hoodies were Alternative Apparel Eco Fleece hoodie. The hoodie itself is a poly/cotton blend hoody, so its not possible to print discharge inks onto the hoodie (as we would normally do with 100% cotton, for a client who wanted super soft inks on their garments) so we had to just use super soft plastisol inks in order to achieve this look. The coverage still had to be there (so you couldn't see the color of the garment thru they ink itself) but it still needed it to be soft.

Alex Ebert and his lively band of 11 mates (also known as Edward Sharpe) have been touring non stop for a few years now, and are finally just about to take a break. We were fortunate enough to be able to print ALL their merch for the last tour they just embarked on, and it was a really great experience. We printed on a wide variety of goods from Tshirts, Womens shirts, hoodies and even interesting crop tops and muscle tank tops. Here are a few shots of the Tshirt that we printed for them, which ended up turning out quite interestingly. This was originally a photograph that we converted into a 6 color simulated process print, and we went to town with high opacity plastisol inks for great coverage and a bright poppy final product. They were stoked, and so were we. Were excited for the next design that Alex comes up with
