Eco Local

Eco+Local (the many ways that Print Renegades tries to keep up with our responsibility to support local businesses and favor our environment in all our business decisions) SUPPORT LOCAL: Several studies have shown that when you buy from an independent, locally owned business, rather than a nationally owned businesses, significantly more of your money is used to make purchases from other local businesses, service providers and farms -- continuing to strengthen the economic base of that community. Additionally, locally owned businesses can make more local purchases requiring less transportation and generally set up shop in town or city centers as opposed to developing on the fringe. This generally means contributing less to sprawl, congestion, habitat loss and pollution. (Studies of economic impact studies of local support can be found HERE: http://www.ilsr.org/key-studies-walmart-and-bigbox-retail/ )   We tirelessly support our fellow local businesses in any way possible because that is what we hope for all local

We Love a Good Challenge – Part I

We count ourselves lucky for having had the opportunity to work on some seriously fun, unique and challenging projects that are beyond t-shirts. We like to keep pushing the boundaries of what we can screen print on and get ourselves thinking outside the box. Screen printing is such a versatile medium with inks that work on lots of different surfaces - by the way, we use only vegan and eco-friendly inks which has lots of good going not just for the environment but for us, too. It's free of harmful chemicals and with no traces of resin or plastic commonly found in traditional inks some screen printers still use to this day. Here are some of our most challenging and unique projects to date: PACKAGING: Client: Pizzanista Project: Pizza Box   Client: Stamina Project: Energy Powder Read our post on this here.   Client: Damnson Project: Custom Shipping Boxes Read our post on

Grindin’

After what has been an insanely busy couple of months, we've gotten a small breather. We've finally reached a point where our job board is not overflowing with work orders onto the table next to it. We might actually have some time to work on a few projects we've been trying to complete! If you follow our Instagram, you may have seen we have a new coffee bar set up for our customers. We bought a very cool automatic espresso machine that makes some very fancy drinks along with all the accouterments that one might possibly need to make the coffee of their dreams. So come on by to check it out, even if all you want is coffee. We'll be happy to fire it up for you! Along with our fancy espresso machine, we've gotten some other new toys that we'll be happy to show you once they've been set up and
